Common questions
What's the difference between agency staffing and permanent recruitment?
With agency staffing, Care Bridge Staffing employs the care worker and supplies them to a provider for casual or temporary shifts. With permanent recruitment, we find and screen candidates and the provider employs them directly in a permanent role.
Can you sponsor my visa?
Care Bridge Staffing is a recruitment and staffing agency, not a migration agent, and we can't give visa advice. Some employers may consider sponsorship for eligible candidates in permanent roles, but the decision is theirs, and any visa is decided by the Department of Home Affairs. For visa questions, please speak to a registered migration agent or an immigration lawyer. Our partner, Visa Aid Immigration, is one option, and we're happy to introduce you.
Who can apply?
We're currently recruiting candidates who are already in Australia and have the right to work here.
What qualifications and experience do I need?
For Aged Care roles, providers typically look for a Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent, 2+ years' Aged Care experience, dementia knowledge and experience, manual handling skills, current First Aid and CPR, a current National Police Check, a 'can do' attitude and a person-centred approach. For Disability Support (NDIS) roles, they typically look for a Cert III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent experience, an NDIS Worker Screening Check, the NDIS Worker Orientation Module, First Aid and CPR, a current police check, and a Working With Children Check and driver's licence where the role requires it. Each provider sets its own final requirements.
How quickly can you supply staff?
Tell us as early as you can, and we'll always try to fill short-notice requests from our pool. We'll be upfront about what we can cover.
How long does it take to get work?
It depends on the role, your availability and your situation. We'll keep you updated, but we can't promise timeframes, shifts or outcomes.
What happens to my information?
