Care Bridge Staffing Pty Ltd (ABN 25 701 046 399) ("Care Bridge Staffing", "we", "us") is a recruitment and staffing agency. We employ care workers and supply them to Aged Care and NDIS (Disability Support) providers, and we recruit care workers for permanent roles, in Sydney and Regional NSW. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains, in plain English, what we collect, why, who we share it with and your choices.

1. What we collect

When you apply for work, contact us or make an employer enquiry, we may collect:

  • your name, phone number, email address, and suburb and state
  • your CV, qualifications (such as a Cert III), work history, years of experience, skills and training (such as dementia care and manual handling)
  • your availability, the type of work you want and whether you're willing to relocate
  • details of screening checks and certificates you hold (such as an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, police check, First Aid or a driver's licence)
  • whether you're currently in Australia, and your work rights or visa status as you tell us
  • referee details and what referees tell us about you
  • notes from our conversations with you, and anything else you choose to send us
  • for employers: your name, organisation, role, contact details and staffing needs

We don't ask for sensitive information such as health information, racial or ethnic origin or religion. Please leave it out of your CV unless it's relevant to the role. If an employer requires a check that involves sensitive information (for example, a police check), we'll ask for your consent first.

2. How we collect it

Mostly directly from you: through the forms on this website, by email, by phone and through messages on our social media pages. With your consent, we may also collect information from your referees and from employers you've interviewed with.

3. Why we collect and use it

  • to assess whether you're suitable for current or future shifts and roles
  • to employ you and offer you shifts if you join our agency pool
  • to contact you about your application and about roles that may suit you
  • to put you forward to prospective employers, with your consent
  • to check your references and qualifications
  • to respond to employer enquiries and provide our services
  • to keep records and meet our legal obligations

If you don't give us the information we ask for, we may not be able to consider you for a role.

4. Who we share it with

We only share your information for the purposes above:

  • Prospective employers: we share your application with Aged Care and NDIS providers and prospective employers, for suitable shifts and roles, only with your consent, which you give when you submit the apply form. You can ask us not to send your details to a particular employer.
  • Referees: when we check your references, with your consent.
  • Visa Aid Immigration: only if you ask a visa question and agree to be referred. Care Bridge Staffing is not a migration agent and does not give visa advice.
  • Service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host, email provider and record-keeping tools. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
  • Anyone else where the law requires or allows it.

We don't sell your personal information.

5. Storage overseas

Our website and form provider and our email and cloud tools may store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected.

6. Keeping your information safe

We store information in secure, password-protected systems and limit access to the people who need it. We keep your information while it's useful for recruitment, generally up to two years after our last contact with you, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. After that, we securely delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your application at any time.

7. Job alerts and marketing

We'll only send you job alerts if you ask for them. You can opt out at any time by telling us or by using the unsubscribe option in the message.

8. Website and cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies at the moment. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we'll update this policy first.

9. Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below. We'll respond within 30 days.

10. Questions and complaints

If you have a question or a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us through our contact form. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
